Change a presentation’s theme

Choose a theme

1. Open the presentation in Deck view and choose Theme.
2. Select a shipped theme, or choose a company theme and use Import copy.
3. Inspect several slides, including the densest slide and any custom HTML visuals.
4. Check Issues for contrast or theme errors before presenting.

Company themes are copied into the deck

Import copy puts a copy of the company theme in the presentation. A later change to the source theme does not silently restyle that copy. Use Update copy when you want to bring in its revised version, then check the slides again.

Ask an agent to customize the deck theme

For a custom theme, have your agent follow the presentation theme reference. Deck colors, fonts, spacing, and other tokens belong in the theme. Custom HTML slides need to use those tokens if you want them to follow theme changes.

Fix theme errors in the document

Use Edit theme in document to inspect the theme source. Strata reports problems such as missing tokens, duplicate theme blocks, unknown themes, and low contrast. Fix the reported source issue rather than adding a second competing theme block.
