Create a presentation with your agent

Your coding agent writes the presentation; Strata stores the document and renders it as slides. Start from the Presentations page to connect the agent and give it the deck-format instructions.

Create the first draft

  1. Open Presentations and choose Build it with your coding agent.
  2. Connect your MCP client using the setup details in the dialog, if you have not connected it already.
  3. Copy the starter prompt into your agent. It links to Strata’s presentation format.
  4. Tell the agent the audience, the purpose, and which Strata documents to use. Review the resulting deck in Strata.

Give the agent useful source material

Read the Strata presentation format at https://strata.space/documentation/presentations. Use the Strata MCP server to read [document link] and create a six-slide project update. Include progress, risks, and decisions needed. Keep the figures unchanged and put speaking notes outside each slide visual.

Review the deck before presenting

Switch between Deck and Document. Deck lets you arrange slides and inspect the rendered result. Document lets you edit the source and notes. Check that each slide shows the intended content and that the agent has not placed visible text in the notes.

Revise the existing deck

Give the agent the deck’s document link and name the slides to change. Ask it to revise that document so comments and subsequent edits remain with the same deck. You can also choose New presentation to create a deck yourself.
