Presentation questions

How is Strata different from AI slide generators?

Strata lets you build presentations with the AI agent you already use, such as Claude Code or Cursor, through MCP. Your agent works from source documents and company themes, revises individual slides, and can request layout and contrast checks. You edit the deck in the browser and share interactive slides. Strata is a fit for teams bringing their own agent into a shared presentation workspace.

How do I make a presentation with Claude Code?

Connect Claude Code to Strata through MCP and give it the presentation guide. Ask for a deck such as “Create a 10-slide stakeholder update from these three documents, using our company theme.” Claude Code drafts the slides in Strata; you review and edit them in the browser, present with speaker notes, or publish an audience link.

Can presentations include interactive charts and demos?

Yes. Strata supports HTML visuals, including charts and interactive demos. Visuals can use named data blocks within the document. Browser presentations and standalone HTML can retain interactivity; PDF captures static slides.

Can I use company themes and presenter notes?

Yes. Apply a company theme or a built-in theme and present with a separate presenter window, notes, current and next slide previews, and a timer. Ordinary presenter notes are excluded from audience editions and slide-deck exports.

Can Strata import and export PowerPoint files?

PPTX import converts content into an ordinary Strata document; it does not preserve original slide fidelity. Strata exports presentation decks as standalone HTML or PDF, not PPTX.
