Style a published document
A Strata document can carry blog settings for its public reading edition. Use them to choose the page’s appearance and metadata, then preview the draft before publishing.
Set the reading-page options
Ask your agent to use the blog design reference and add a blog map to the document’s YAML frontmatter. It can set supported appearance, font, color, cover, and metadata options. Frontmatter is not displayed as body text on the public page.
Ask for a focused change
Read https://strata.space/documentation#blog-design. In this Strata document [document link], enable a table of contents for the public reading edition and write a summary of at most 160 characters. Preview follows the draft. Check the title, reading surface, table of contents, and any cover image. Invalid settings, missing named references, malformed YAML, and insufficient contrast can prevent publishing. Fix the reported errors before trying again.
A cover must refer to an image in the document. Tags and series metadata follow the limits in the reference; adding an arbitrary frontmatter key does not create a new publishing feature.
Publish the design you reviewed
Publishing captures the design, including any defaults inherited from the profile. Later changes to those defaults do not restyle the existing edition. Publish updates when you want the revised design to go live. Presentation documents use their own presentation settings.
