Give your agent a focused Space

A Space groups documents your team or agent should be able to find together. Use one for a project’s source material, such as a launch brief, customer research, and an agreed requirements document.

Build the collection

  1. Open Spaces and choose Create Space.
  2. Choose the scope where the Space belongs, then give it a name and description.
  3. Open the Space and use Add documents to select its source documents.
  4. Use Link Folder if documents in a folder and its subfolders should appear automatically.

Make the Space discoverable

In the Space’s Settings, Published controls whether agents can discover the Space through MCP. This does not publish those documents as posts on your public profile.

Review Access and the documents included in the Space before asking an agent to use it. If a document is missing from an agent’s results, check both discoverability and access rather than assuming the agent has read it.

Ask for a bounded task

Find the Launch planning Space in Strata. Read the launch brief and requirements document. List any conflicting launch dates, link to the source documents, and ask me which date to use before editing anything.

Keep the collection deliberate

Removing a document from a Space removes that association. Unlinking a folder stops its documents appearing through that link; it does not delete the original folder or files. Add the material relevant to the task so the agent has an identifiable set of sources to inspect.
